Robert St. Genis was born in Chicago, and spent his early years in a highrise overlooking Lake Michigan. His family moved to West Bloomfield, Michigan, where Robert lived several years of his childhood and attended Cranbrook School.

When he was a teenager, Robert’s family returned to roots in the Northeast and he completed high school in Morristown, New Jersey.

He went on to Montreal, Canada where he earned his degree at Concordia University.

He lived in San Francisco after university, then moved to Washington, DC.

Robert has lived across the continent and roamed the world, first visiting California twenty years ago, and for the past twelve years calling it home.

He has spent many years in Los Angeles which is now his primary home, and has lived full time and now part time in greater Palm Springs.

With an extensive background in marketing and sales, Robert demonstrated an early aptitude for real estate when he undertook to design a brochure for the sale of their family home as a teenager. Around the same time, he started attending open houses regularly.

His mother and stepmother both became agents and Robert observed them keenly, learning best practices in the real estate business.

Robert has executed several transactions of his own on both primary and income properties in the last 4 years. From this he has learned how to really listen to a client, how to guide them through the proper decision-making process, how to see a successful transaction through the closing and even after.

Robert believes that you are only as strong as the team to which you belong, and interviewed with numerous offices before deciding that he would have no greater guidance and support than at the offices of Coldwell Banker Sunset Strip.
